FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Trisotech Introduces Comprehensive Library of Shareable DMN Clinical Decision Services

Trisotech pursues innovation in Health Information Technology by introducing a library of over 500 clinical decisions readily available to clinicians

Montreal, Qc, Canada, September 25, 2019 — Trisotech (http://trisotech.com) today announced that it would be introducing a comprehensive library of shareable DMN Clinical Decision Services at the BPM+ Health industry workshop slated for today, Wednesday, September 25, 2019, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM (CT). The session is part of the Object Management Group (OMG)Technical Meeting at the Lowes Vanderbilt Hotel, in Nashville, Tennessee.

These services can be easily consumed via API in any Clinical Decision Support (CDS) application to help clinicians carry out their duties more efficiently and effectively. The initial catalog of DMN clinical decision services will cover a wide range of clinical algorithms of general interest to clinicians and will be available as part of the Trisotech Decision Management Suite.

Denis Gagne, CEO and CTO at Trisotech, is delivering the presentation alongside John Svirbely, MD, Chief Medical Officer at The Medical Algorithms Company, who is responsible for the authoring of the clinical decision models. “John demonstrated how fast and easy it is for someone who initially had little knowledge of decision modeling and had never used our DMN tool, to turn his medical expertise into consumable clinical decision services. He delivered over 500 clinical decision services in record time, demonstrating the ease-of-use of the Trisotech Decision Management Suite. We are proud to be at the BPM+ Health event to showcase this incredible realization.” Says Denis Gagné.

Trisotech offers a free trial of the DMN-based Decision Management Suite to any organization looking to adopt the standard. Simply fill in this form or contact support@trisotech.com to get a live demonstration.

About BPM+ Health

Business Process Management for Healthcare (BPM+ Health) is an initiative by the OMG committed to improving the quality, efficiency, and flexibility of Healthcare Information Technology in the clinical health sector by leveraging BPM technologies.

The goal of the BPM+ Health initiative is to accelerate the availability of industry-wide, shareable clinical pathways by reducing the communication barrier that exists between clinicians and informaticians. The proposed solution will leverage a set of international standards from the OMG, namely BPMN, CMMN, and DMN.

The success of BPM+ Health will be measured by the availability and adoption of its technology and best practices. The communication barrier is being addressed via a “Field Guide” which provides methods and style recommendations to create unambiguous clinical pathways. As a founding member of the community, Trisotech trusts that the widespread availability of clinical DMN decision services will drive adoption among the industry.
