BPMN Modeler February 17, 2020 – Version 6.9.0
New and Improved Features:
  • The BPMN Modeler is now named the Workflow Modeler.
  • When using the viewer (or within the Kommunicator), the search bar is now accessible.
  • Added an option to generate default Inputs/Outputs from an activity internal data inputs/outputs. This is very useful after binding a service or decision to automatically generate Data Objects that corresponds 1-to-1 to the service/decision requirements.
Bug fixes:
  • When importing an OpenAPI in the Service Library, the first output is now chosen instead of the last when multiple operation outputs are present.
  • Overlays were not shown after the animation completed if they were hidden when the animation started.
  • In the Operation Library. The option to enable the Rich Text editor for Text parameters was not visible immediatly after changing the type to Text.
  • Changing the view mode is now undoable.
  • Fixed an issue with long file name that would wrap over other names in the move dialog of the place navigator.

New and Improved Features:
  • It is now possible to use images as diagram elements.
  • Send Tasks operations can now be defined using the Operation Library in a similar fashion as Service Tasks.
  • It is now possible to enter a custom process instance name expression using the contextual menu (right-click) on a process and selecting Attributes then Process Instance Name…
Bug fixes:
  • The search bar will start searching when the user stop typing instead of waiting for the 3 first characters to be entered.
  • Linking DMN Decision on a Rule Task could yield duplicated Input/Output Data.
  • Data types of linked DMN decisions on a Rule Task were not always properly imported when they were basic FEEL types.
  • Re-linking the same DMN Decision on a Rule Task could incorrectly not update the data inputs/outputs.
  • Don’t overwrite data types if user decides not to import an existing interface in the Operation Library.
  • The Operation assignment editor is not properly refreshed right after creating an operation.
  • Saving a file to a different folder would sometimes ask to overwrite the file even if it did not exist.

  • Process Data Inputs and Data Outputs are now accessible in the contextual menu of a process.
Bug fixes:
  • Data Inputs/Outputs with spaces and carriage returns were not properly escaped in the FEEL editor.
  • In some cases, the diagram image was not properly published when doing a Cloud Publish.

  • A search bar is now available in the ribbon bar that search through all the defined elements of the current model. If your screen size is not wide enough, this may hide the right panels access buttons. They are also available under the view ribbon.
  • When using the viewer (or within the Kommunicator), it is now possible to view the details of hidden items using the ellipsis menu.
Bug fixes:
  • Data association labels are now preserved using BPMN extensions when saving a model or exporting it to BPMN.

  • When dragging elements from the Digital Enterprise Graph side panel, the attachments, custom attributes, time, cost, value, quality and gaps attributes are now copied.
  • The Semantic dialog of the element details dialog can now create semantic links using the same interface as the Digital Enterprise Graph side panel (search or hierarchy drill down).
Bug fixes:
  • Capacity and state attributes were missing for data stores and data objects in the report.

  • The default position of labels on links can now be changed using the contextual menu (right-click) under the Label Position menu.
  • It is now possible to resize the shapes to their default sizes if they were resized. This functionality is accessible by selecting Reset Size in the contextual menu (right-click) of a resized shape.
  • Updated the Microsoft products icons with their new branding.
  • The BPMN XML export now adds an extended attribute for the modeling publication state and version in a new Trisotech Extended Attribute.
Bug fixes:
  • When using the animator, it was possible to have a sticky tooltip that would not disapear in a rare case.
  • Vendor extensions at the collaboration level were not properly re-exported in the BPMN xml export.
  • BPMN Diagrams were not always properly loading on an iPad.
