The open data protocol or ODATA standardizes create, read, update, and delete operations on SQL, NOSQL and other data sources. In addition, ODATA can perform complex queries against data hosted on an ODATA server. With the Trisotech implementation of Decision Model Notation (DMN) a designer can connect ODATA operations with decision logic. This capability opens the possibility of creating a complete microservice in DMN-one that handles the data associated with the decision.
