New and Improved Features:
  • Support for older version of Internet Explorer (version 9 and 10) will end in December 2017. Users still using these versions will get a non-blocking notification when they open a session. Microsoft have already deprecated its support of IE 9/10 since January 2016, you can refer to: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsforbusiness/end-of-ie-support for an upgrade. Support for Internet Explorer 11, Edge, Chrome and Firefox will continue after December 2017.
  • You can now define directly in the BPMN modeler the Data Type associated with Data Objects and Data Store in a similar fashion that you would do in DMN.
    • All data types are available under the BPMN ribbon in the Data Type dialog.
    • Right-clicking on a Data Object/Store Item, you can select Attributes->Data to define the data type.
    • In BPMN, Data Types are attached to an extra layer of abstraction called Item Definition. To assign a type to an Item Definition, you need to select Data Type from the Definition Type dropdown of the Item Definition.
Bug Fixes:
  • Data Objects are now properly serialized to BPMN XML in a choreography.
  • In certain condition, a call activity to an external process would return as a task after a save/load.
  • Fixed an issue serializing expanded call activity with no children.

New and Improved Features:
  • The way we create references from a BPMN Model to another was aligned with the way we reference CMMN and DMN models. You will now have the BPMN logo in the Reuse section of the BPMN ribbon. Previously, this functionality was under the Sub-Process drop-down in the same ribbon.
  • Collapsing an expanded sub process is now easier to do as it has its separate option in the Sub Process actions in the BPMN ribbon. Previously it was a side effect of another option.
Bug Fixes:
  • Reported an error when trying to work with a BPMN model containing multiple non-call activity sub process referencing the same content.

New and Improved Features:
  • When selecting multiple models (to move or delete them), you can now use standard shortcut keys to select multiple models (CTRL-key) or a range (SHIFT-Key). Also, you can now access the multiple selection operations using the right click mouse button without deselecting other models.

  • It is now possible to move models to different sub folders in one of your Trisotech Cloud places.
  • It is now possible to select multiple models to delete or move in a single operation.
Bug Fixes:
  • Pool and lanes label bounds were too large in the exported properly to BPMN.
  • Annotation line color can now be changed.

New and Improved Features:
  • You can now switch to a Relation view (through the View Ribbon) to visualize the relationships in your BPMN model. The Relation view is editable so you can create or remove relationship from that view. You can also quickly highlight the elements without relationships from that view.
  • You can now set the font size and family on all the shapes. Additionally, you can also change the color and font attributes such as bold and italic through the Home ribbon.

  • It is now possible to use multiple languages (FEEL, XPATH, JavaScript and Python) for all BPMN formal expressions.
Bug Fixes:
  • Corrected an issue with the documentation export that would fail for pages containing a shape with many special characters.
  • Corrected an issue with Data Input/Output that would in extreme conditions prevent the XML serialization to BPMN.

  • Heatmap visualization is now available through the View->Manage Heatmaps ribbon button. They can also be accessed using the flame icon in the top right shortcuts. You can now visualize an heatmap of value and quality that will overlay the data that you entered in your diagram.

  • New overlays for HW5 (How, Who, What, Where, When, Why) are now available under the overlay pane accessible through the View Ribbon -> Manage Overlay (or the flag icon at the top right of the application). These can be toggled on/off individually or together.
