Digital Enterprise Suite

Digital Enterprise Suite – Release Notes – June 19 2026

Title Shadow
New and improved features:
  • Insight Analyzer is a new modeling product providing insight into your Digital Enterprise Graph.
  • An administration page allows to configure and manage the access of AI usage.
  • The Service Library allows to chat with a single service or with a complete environment allowing users to interact with deployed services using natural language using AI.
  • Models (Workflow, Decision, Cases and Shared Data) can be created from a textual description using AI.
  • Description of models (Workflow, Decision, Cases and Shared Data) can be automatically created using AI.
  • Services exposed using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) now supports Streamable HTTP transport. It should be favored over the SSE transport.
  • The admin interface allows administrators to pull or push place content from a standard Git client.
  • B-FEEL is now the default expression language when creating new models.
  • Issues corrected by the B-FEEL semantic will not be reported as warnings by default anymore when testing or executing models.
  • A new administration page section allows to visualise the deployed Digital Distributed Containers.
  • The model and diagram description is now accessible in the Kommunicator.
  • Opening a model in the Kommunicator now always shows the first diagram page.
  • There is now an option to start a new services instance after completing a service instance through the Form interface.
  • A link of the proper type is now suggested when connecting an invalid link type between two shapes in the modeling canvas.
  • It is now possible to move or copy place folders.
  • A decision service can be marked as the default service for the model execution.
  • The admin security page now offers two additional setting for managing the referrer policy and if documents are opened inline or downloaded. It also now contains a Network Configuration section for client hosted deployments.
  • The Cookbook Receipes are now linked from the Learn tab of the BPM+ modeling products.
Bug fixes:
  • Incorrect casing when calling an automation service (Workflow, Decision or Case) would start the service but the exectuion history could not be displayed in Cloud Execution.
  • Renaming a data type will now correctly affect dependent models.
  • The embedded subprocess data mapping dialog was incorrectly available since there is no data mapping at the embedded sub process level.
  • Some data objects were incorrectly flagges as being used when trying to delete them.
  • It was not possible to rename a Case File Item when a Case File Items with the same name existed in different Case Plan Model.
  • Collection constraints were not kept after entering them.
  • Reordering rows in the output mapping could cause issues with a data type synched with the Digital Enterprise Graph.
  • The data output mapping is not deleted anymore when changing a data object to a data output.
  • Message flows are now automatically layed out when importing a workflow model in BPMN XML format without diagrams.
  • When importing a model depicting a collaboration with one invisible pool two diagrams are created.
Non-Backward Compatible Changes:
  • The helm charts for Digital Distributed Container were improved to mount completed instances of services. When upgrading to the version 13 helm charts, the volume that was mounted will need to be updated to move all files at the root under a pinstances folder.
  • The AI Agents functionality existing in version 12 using OpenAI Assistants and Azure OpenAI Assistants were scheduled by Microsoft and OpenAI for retirement in August 2026. This feature was replaced by a new (see new features) implementation supporting multiple LLM providers. There is no direct migration path for this deprecation.
  • The Trisotech managed places (Trisotech Examples, EU-Rent, Healthcare) are now normal places that are served and updated through a central repository. If they were previously enabled on your instance, they will need to be re-configured throught the Places Admin interface by doing an Import from Trisotech.
  • Digital Distributed Containers built starting from version 13 should not define a LICENSE environment variable. The containers are now licensed when built by the Digital Enterprise Suite. Updating your helm scripts to the latest version automatically apply this change.
  • The Business Process Simulation (BPSim) editor and simulation were removed from the worfklow modeler.
  • The Kubernetes templates that could be configured in the Admin interface and accessed in the Service Library were removed and replaced by helm scripts.
