FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Montreal, Quebec January 25, 2016 — Trisotech (http://www.trisotech.com) announced today that they now support for the latest CMMN 1.1 specification in their Digital Enterprise Suite.
Trisotech’s CMMN Modeler, part of the Digital Enterprise Suite, allows to create case models using a web-based application. With the CMMN Modeler you can capture less-repeatable, dynamic and information-rich case management scenarios used by knowledge workers. Moreover, you can document case models for business improvement and create models for implementation in a BPM or case management system.
The CMMN 1.1 specification has been officially approved on December 10th 2015 by the Object Management Group (OMG) architecture board, and Trisotech has already implemented all of the official changes into its CMMN Modeler, part of the Digital Enterprise Suite. The Object Management Group (OMG), known as the standardisation body developing Unified Modeling Language (UML) notation, the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and other technology standards, has officially approved the latest version of the CMMN specification which includes important notation changes.
The latest approval of the specification includes multiple changes, yet most importantly the CMMN Modeler component of the Digital Enterprise Suite, integrated the Text Annotation, Association and Discretionary Association connectors. Additionally, a new task type, Decision Task, has been added to the CMMN shapes. Finally, the onPart connector depiction has been changed to be aligned with the CMMN 1.1 update.
